FinXL is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer (Cross-Domain /XMPP) to join our Defence consulting practice. In this engagement, you will become a key member of our team and be deployed with a national security sector organisation on a high-profile transformation project.
An active NV1 or NV2 security clearance is highly preferred.
This position can be based from either of the following cities: Canberra ideally - Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane also considered (Hybrid).
Responsibility
Implement secure network boundaries and cross-domain messaging solutions.
Support a major secure cloud capability rollout within the National Security Sector.
Manage and configure XML cross-domain guards for controlling and filtering traffic.
Travel to specific base or city locations for a few weeks during project initiation.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure stringent security compliance across the programme.
Key Skills & Experience
Hands-on engineering experience with secure network boundaries.
Proven expertise working with Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP).
Familiarity with XML cross-domain guards, such as Isode M-Guard or similar technologies.
Solid understanding of traffic filtering mechanisms.
Australian Citizenship is a strict requirement for this engagement.
An active NV1 or NV2 security clearance is highly preferred, though highly skilled uncleared citizens willing to undergo sponsorship will be considered.
