We’re looking for a skilled Sous Chef or Senior CDP to join our leadership team full-time.
This is a genuine second-in-command role — not just a section hand. You’ll work directly alongside the Head Chef to run services, lead the brigade, and own the kitchen when it counts.
What the role looks like
- Running à la carte service across a busy restaurant and bar operation
- Leading and mentoring a team of full-time and casual kitchen staff
- Managing prep, stock control, ordering, and food safety compliance
- Holding the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence — confidently and independently
What we need from you
- Proven experience at Sous Chef or strong Senior CDP level
- Ability to run a full service independently — this is non-negotiable
- Strong à la carte skills and section discipline
- Team-first attitude with genuine leadership capability
- Full working rights in Australia
- Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
What we offer
