As a creative, strategic, and collaborative Content & Owned Channels Manager, you will shape and execute our content strategy across our owned channels and create and curate compelling content that speaks to a diverse audience. You will bring our brand and solutions to life across various content outputs and Vocus owned channels, from small businesses to large enterprises, government, and wholesale customers.
You’ll lead the development and optimisation of content across our website, blog, email, and social platforms, working closely with marketing, product, sales, and Group Communications teams to ensure consistency of message and tone across every touchpoint.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and own the content strategy for all owned channels, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives, brand positioning, and business priorities
- Plan, create, and optimise content tailored to varied audiences across SMB, mid-market, Enterprise, Wholesale, and Government sectors
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Group Communications, Product Marketing, Sales, and Digital teams to ensure content consistency and alignment with broader campaigns and corporate communications
- Manage the content calendar & editorial workflow to ensure a steady pipeline of high-quality, relevant, timely content
- Write, edit, and proof content for a range of formats, including web pages, blogs, case studies, email campaigns, and thought leadership pieces
- Oversee website and owned channel performance, ensuring best practice in SEO, accessibility, & user experience
- Use analytics and insights to continually refine content strategy, measure impact, drive engagement and conversion
- Champion content governance and brand consistency, ensuring tone of voice, messaging, and style align across all touchpoints
- Support content enablement across teams, providing guidance, templates, and quality assurance for content produced by others.
What you’ll bring to this role
- Minimum of 5+ years in B2B content marketing, digital marketing, or communications, ideally within the telecommunications, technology, or B2B sectors
- Exceptional stakeholder and customer engagement with a bias for collaboration, action and clear communication
- Experience in design, development, and execution of GTM and retention marketing programs
- A structured thinker, with an ability to convert technical complexity into clarity tailored to each audience
- Strong technical copywriting and editing skills with a familiarity with telecommunications concepts and terminology, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and formats
- Experience managing and optimising content across web, email, and social channels
- Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) such as Optimizely, WordPress, or Adobe Experience Manager
- Understanding of SEO best practices, content performance analytics, and customer journey mapping.
