We are seeking full-time, part-time and casual Carnival Amusement Operators to join our team and assist with the set-up, operation and pack-down of amusement rides at events across New South Wales.
We are a warm and welcoming company that loves bringing fun, excitement and good vibes to events throughout NSW. Our amusement operators are an important part of creating a safe, friendly and enjoyable experience for our customers.
No prior experience is required to be successful in this role. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to get started in the events, amusement or entertainment industry. Previous experience working with amusement rides, at carnivals, festivals or in customer-facing roles will be highly regarded but is by no means necessary.
Key Responsibilities
As a Carnival Amusement Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the safe set-up and pack-down of amusement rides and equipment.
- Operating amusement rides in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.
- Conducting appropriate safety checks before and during ride operation.
- Assisting customers, particularly children and families, to ensure they have a positive experience.
- Working as part of a team to ensure events run smoothly and safely.
- Assisting with general event duties as required.
The Successful Candidates
You don't need previous amusement experience to apply. We are looking for people who are reliable, enthusiastic and willing to learn.

- Physically fit, with the ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift, carry and move equipment.
- Friendly and approachable, with a warm personality and a genuine enjoyment of working with people.
- Safety conscious and able to follow procedures and instructions carefully.
- Reliable and punctual, particularly when working early starts, late finishes or weekend events.
- Team oriented, with the ability to work well with others in a busy event environment.
- Positive and energetic, with a willingness to bring good vibes to our customers and the wider team.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in a range of weather conditions.
Additionally, candidates must have current Working With Children Check or the ability to obtain one.
Pay: $32.50 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 45.0 per week
