Nova Life Support Services is seeking experienced and highly skilled Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.
We are looking for reliable, professional, and person-centred staff who are passionate about supporting participants to build independence, confidence, and meaningful community connections.
This role is suited to support workers who have strong experience working with participants with complex behaviours and a wide range of diagnoses and support needs.
About the Role
You will provide high-quality, individualised support to NDIS participants within the community and home environment. Supports may include:
- Community access and social participation
- Emotional regulation and behavioural support
- Assistance with daily living activities
- Skill development and independence building
- Transport and community engagement
- Supporting participants with complex support needs
- Detailed documentation and incident reporting
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary support environment
Experience Required
Applicants must have demonstrated experience supporting participants with a range of diagnoses and presentations, including but not limited to:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
- Mental health conditions
- Psychosocial disabilities
- Intellectual disabilities
- Physical disabilities
- Complex behaviours / behaviours of concern
- High support needs participants

Essential Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Smartphone and ability to use digital systems/apps
- Availability for weekdays, weekends, and community-based supports
Desirable
- Medication competency
- Experience with complex behaviours
- Mental health training
- Positive Behaviour Support knowledge
- Manual handling experience
- Experience completing incident reports and progress documentation

Pay: $43.23 – $77.81 per hour
