The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Senior Director (Technology Operations) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Lead the Technology Operations team supporting the delivery of core front line ICT technologies, applications, and services
Manage the planning, development, and implementation of digital, information and data services strategies
Engage and influence organisational priorities to deliver the digital strategy that underpins GCHHS's digital healthcare journey
Partner with stakeholders and lead Technology Operations in the delivery of digital transformation initiatives
Responsible for the management of strategic risk as it relates to information technology
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
Highly desirable: Possession of a bachelor's degree in a clinical digital specialty, information technology, or a related field tertiary qualification or equivalent eligibility
Highly desirable: Minimum five years of experience in a hospital setting; with at least three years in a complex tertiary referral health care system

Base salary ranging from $179,569 - $193,698 per annum
