All Saints Woollahra
Location: Woollahra, NSW
Location type: On-Site
Date advertised: 1st July 2026
Job Type: Part time
Closing Date: 30th July 2026
All Saints' Woollahra is a growing reformed and evangelical Anglican church in Sydney's east. We regularly have around 90 adults and children meeting on a Sunday, and our prayer is to see lives transformed through Jesus to the glory of God.
We are seeking a part-time Office Manager to support our ministry team by handling the administration of church life effectively, efficiently, and with care, enabling our staff and volunteers to focus elsewhere.
This role sits at the heart of our church's life: the first point of contact for enquiries, the steady hand behind our communications and calendar, and a valued partner to our staff team. It's an ideal role for someone who loves detail and order, people, and the local church, and who finds real joy in serving behind the scenes so that ministry can flourish.
Essential attributes:
- A mature Christian of warm character, above reproach, who loves God and his church.
- Highly organised and self-motivated with strong attention to detail, able to juggle multiple tasks, solve problems, and take initiative.
- Friendly, hospitable, and flexible, with excellent people skills, a caring attitude, and high integrity.
- Accessible and responsive, able to adapt to the changing needs of church life.
- Prior administrative experience, ideally in a church or not-for-profit context, is desirable.
Key skills:
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound financial acumen and bookkeeping experience (MYOB preferred)
- Familiarity with church management software (Planning Centre) and Apple operating systems
- Tech-savvy and quick to master new digital tools.
Key responsibilities:
- First point of contact for the church: phone, email, mail, and front-of-house enquiries.
- Preparing and printing service sheets and seasonal flyers.
- Managing the church calendar and bookings (weddings, funerals, and hall hire).
- Liaising with tradespeople and contractors.
- Maintaining the website, sermon uploads, and weekly emails.
- Assisting in coordinating volunteer rosters and keeping church records up to date.
- Assisting in managing Planning Centre Online, invoicing, and accounts with our treasurer.
- General administrative support to the ministry team, including our weekly staff meeting (Tuesdays).
