Due to continued growth, we're expanding our Perth Metro team and are looking for experienced Arborists who are passionate about their trade and want to be part of a professional business with an exciting future.
About the Role
As an Arborist with Genus Environmental, you'll play an important role in delivering safe, high-quality arboricultural services across a diverse range of projects throughout the Perth Metro area.
Working alongside experienced crews, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing arboricultural and vegetation management works safely and efficiently.
- Working around live powerlines in accordance with relevant procedures and industry standards.
- Operating and maintaining plant, equipment and tools.
- Completing pre-start inspections and maintaining equipment in a safe working condition.
- Delivering quality workmanship while maintaining the highest standards of safety.
- Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting your crew to achieve outstanding outcomes.
- About You We're looking for Arborists who take pride in their work and are committed to delivering quality outcomes safely.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience working as an Arborist.
- Arboriculture qualification.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- A current Driver's Licence.
The following qualifications are highly regarded:
- Certificate II in ESI – Powerline Vegetation Control (UET20319).
- Current First Aid & CPR.
- Construction White Card.
- Chainsaw competencies.
- EDD (UETTDRRF08) and/or EWP Rescue (UETDRRF002).
- Experience working around live powerlines.
