Intern Pharmacist (Minimum 500 Internship Hours Completed)

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and career-driven Intern Pharmacist to join our busy and growing community pharmacy team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an intern who wants to develop not only strong clinical skills but also gain valuable exposure to pharmacy operations, business management and leadership.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Have completed a minimum of 500 internship hours in Australia
- Have previous Australian community pharmacy experience (essential)
- Be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy
- S2/S3 Certification is preferred but not essential
Your Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Accurate and efficient dispensing using Fred Dispense
- Providing professional counselling and patient-centred care
- Recommending appropriate OTC, S2 and S3 medicines
- Demonstrating sound knowledge of:
- NDSS
- Pharmacotherapy Services
- Vaccination Services
- Staged Supply
- MedAdvisor
- Pharmacy Programs
- Tatts Lotto procedures
- Promoting generic substitution and professional pharmacy services
- Maintaining strong OTC and front-of-shop product knowledge
- Assisting with stock control, ordering and inventory management
- Performing opening and closing procedures
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Working collaboratively with pharmacists and pharmacy assistants to ensure efficient pharmacy operations
