IM Partners is recruiting on behalf of SA Construct, one of South Australia's leading commercial roofing and cladding contractors, for enthusiastic apprentices looking to begin a career in either Roof Plumbing or Carpentry.
You'll work alongside experienced tradespeople on commercial projects across Adelaide, learning your trade from people who take pride in producing quality work.
Please note: Due to apprenticeship eligibility requirements, these opportunities are only open to Australian Citizens and Australian Permanent Residents.
What you'll be doing:
As an apprentice, you'll gain hands-on experience while completing your trade qualification, including:
- Assisting qualified tradespeople on commercial construction projects
- Learning how to safely use hand and power tools
- Installing roofing, cladding and carpentry systems (depending on your trade)
- Reading plans and developing practical construction skills
- Working as part of a professional site team
- Building the skills needed to become a qualified tradesperson
What we're looking for:
- A genuine interest in learning a trade
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- A White Card
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport
- The ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding work
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude
- A commitment to working safely and producing quality work
