About Second Home
Second Home is a registered NDIS provider specialising in Supported Independent Living and accommodation solutions for people living with disability.
We believe finding the right home is more than accommodation. It is about connection, independence, compatibility and creating a place where people genuinely belong.
We are looking for a confident, energetic and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help grow our referral network and create meaningful participant outcomes.
About the Role
This is a part-time, relationship-focused sales and business development role. You will be responsible for building strong referral partnerships, generating quality participant referrals and representing Second Home across the disability and community services sector.

You will work 24 hours per week across any 3 weekdays, Monday to Friday.
Travel is an important part of this role. Regular travel across Victoria will be required for stakeholder meetings, participant and family engagement, networking events, expos, community presentations and property inspections. From time to time, travel may also involve interstate travel across Australia to support strategic partnerships, conferences and business growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, Allied Health Professionals, hospitals, guardians, families and community organisations.
- Generate quality referrals for Supported Independent Living and accommodation services.
- Identify and develop new referral pathways and partnership opportunities.
- Attend stakeholder meetings, networking events, expos and community engagement activities.
- Promote Second Home’s services and housing model to referral partners.
- Meet participants, families and support networks to discuss housing and support options.
- Work closely with internal Operations, Finance, HR and Leadership teams.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and professional documentation.
- Support the smooth handover of opportunities to internal teams.
About You
We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, building trust and creating new opportunities. You will be confident, proactive, professional and comfortable working independently.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in sales, business development, account management, relationship management or community engagement.
- Strong communication and networking skills.
- Confident in meeting new people and presenting services professionally.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Access to a reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Victoria and occasionally interstate across Australia.
Highly Desirable
- Experience in the NDIS, disability services, healthcare, allied health, aged care or community services sector.
- Understanding of SIL, SDA, MTA or participant pathways.
- Experience using CRM systems.
