Theo’s is a casual dining and bar experience right in the heart of the Entrance. We are looking for a genuine, creative, passionate chef to lead our team.
Established in 2025, Theo’s is rising in popularity and growing as a staple for locals in our community, making this role perfect for a Sous or CDP looking for their next challenge. A unique lead role to develop your skills alongside our team as the business grows.
This is a great opportunity to express your creativity as you’ll be responsible for designing and costing seasonal menus that are on trend and suited to our target market, while also getting your hands dirty and bringing your creations to life! You will captain the kitchen team, mentoring and leading the team to ensure the delivery of consistently high-quality food from a safe and inclusive kitchen.
About You
With an inspiring and dedicated attitude, our ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who thrives in the kitchen, setting the pace and leading by example. You will also have:

Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team in a high-volume kitchen

Demonstrated creativity, passion and technical expertise

Experience in in cost control and menu creation

Strong communication skills and the demonstrated ability to build relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and front-of-house teams

Highest standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety compliance

Certificate IV in Kitchen Management and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate are highly desirable
