In this role, you'll:
Support Transport for NSW by building and maintaining secure, reliable and scalable cloud platforms that enable digital transformation and efficient service delivery across the organisation.
The role focuses on cloud infrastructure build and support, automation, monitoring, security compliance and cloud migration, working in complex hybrid environments while balancing innovation with strict government standards and operational stability.
Strong experience in enterprise cloud platforms, automation and security is essential, along with collaboration, problem-solving and accountability. The role requires clear communication, continuous learning and effective use of technology to improve reliability, efficiency and business outcomes.

About you
The Cloud Engineer (Capacity) manages assigned cloud activities and daily priorities with a focus on ensuring adequate, reliable capacity for business services, operating within TfNSW governance and financial frameworks.
The role centres on monitoring usage, forecasting demand, and optimising capacity across enterprise cloud platforms to maintain performance, availability, scalability and cost efficiency.
Success relies on strong integrity, collaboration and accountability, using data driven analysis and continuous improvement to proactively manage capacity risks and support reliable cloud services.
