MotorOne Group is seeking a Security Support Analyst to supplement the IT support team with specific skills in Cyber Security.
The Security Support Analyst is responsible for the support of MotorOne Group’s security infrastructure and software including the deployment and ongoing maintenance. The incumbent will also be responsible for performing help desk duties, maintaining desktop hardware and software asset registers, and is required to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Level 1 and level 2 desktop support responsibilities.
- Running tests and assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
- Developing plans and procedures to safeguard and recover data.
- Enhancing existing security with password protection, firewalls, and other tools.
- Installing and maintaining security software to protect data systems.
- Monitoring systems, servers, and networks for any signs of incursions.
- Responding to data breaches and malicious malware attacks.
- Simulating data loss scenarios to evaluate the effectiveness of existing recovery plans.
- Training other employees on data safety and security awareness.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
