We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QC Laboratory Assistant to join our Quality Control team in Broadmeadows.
In this role, you will support laboratory operations to ensure testing activities are performed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and approved procedures.
Key responsibilities
Perform laboratory duties, including sample testing and assays
Coordinate and manage QC samples, including distribution and external testing
Maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration, troubleshooting, and upkeep
Manage laboratory inventory, including stock control of reagents and materials
Ensure accurate and compliant documentation, including data recording, LIMS entry, filing, and archiving
Support batch record coordination and data verification
Assist with documentation updates, including test procedures and SOPs
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory environment
About you
Tertiary qualification in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry)
Experience working in a laboratory environment
Knowledge of GMP/GLP and regulated environments
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Competency with laboratory systems and standard software
Problem-solving mindset and continuous improvement focus
