CSBS is currently recruiting causal Female Disability Support Workers to support Participants in Silkstone and East Ipswich.
If you are someone who enjoys building genuine connections, supporting people to live independently, and making a meaningful difference, this could be the perfect role for you.
At CSBS, we provide paid training, buddy shifts and ongoing support, helping you build your skills and confidence while becoming part of a supportive team.
These roles are supporting Participants across three Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes located in Silkstone and East Ipswich.
These homes operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and shifts may include a mix of day, afternoon, passive sleepover, and active awake overnight shifts. As part of our casual team, successful applicants must be available to assist with backfilling overnight shifts, including both sleepovers and active overnight support when required.
Joining our casual pool can also be a great pathway into more stable work. Our casual staff are the first people we look to when part-time opportunities become available, whether that is through new Participant referrals or when permanent team members move on.
We are ideally seeking someone who is available to work across all locations, providing flexibility for the teams.
- a Positive Notice Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening Check, or the ability to obtain the latter
- a Positive Notice – Blue Card
- an Open Queensland Driver’s Licence
- a reliable motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- a current First Aid & CPR Certificate
