ABOUT JAG
Founded in 1972 on Chapel Street, Melbourne, JAG is the original Australian denim brand, redefined for today. We design effortless, elevated wardrobe staples that embody the Australian lifestyle. Our collections are designed for the weekend, focusing on high-quality finishes, responsible production, better basics, and denim.
JAG is entering an exciting new chapter — growing distribution, repositioning our brand, and elevating our product. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave, offering an experienced design leader the opportunity to step into a pivotal role at a critical point in the brand's evolution.
ROLE OVERVIEW
12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
The Senior Designer (Maternity Leave Cover) will support the continuity of JAG's seasonal design direction for the duration of the contract, executing collections in line with brand DNA and working closely with the GM JAG to ensure consistency across product categories.
The ideal candidate will bring strong design and technical skills, deep expertise in womenswear and denim, and the ability to step into an established range with minimal ramp-up time.
