About the role
As Team Leader Building Facilities, you will provide operational leadership across Council’s building facilities portfolio, leading a dedicated team and overseeing maintenance, contractor management and capital works delivery.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will also drive operational planning, continuous improvement and the implementation of contemporary facilities management practices to enhance service delivery and support Council’s strategic objectives.
Position Objectives
- Provide operational leadership of Council’s Building Facilities function, ensuring the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of maintenance, contractor management, capital works and facilities services across a diverse building portfolio.
- Lead and develop the Building Facilities team, fostering accountability, collaboration and a strong customer service focus while effectively managing resources, budgets and contractor performance.
- Drive continuous improvement through effective operational planning, governance, risk management and the implementation of contemporary facilities management practices, systems and processes.
- Support the ongoing development of the Building Facilities function by strengthening operational capability, improving service delivery and contributing to Council’s long-term asset management objectives.
