Job Description:
As an NDIS Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the lives of individuals with disabilities. You will provide personalized support, assistance with daily living activities, and companionship to help clients achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients in community participation, social engagement, and skill development.
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation to appointments or community activities.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of client progress and services provided.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Follow behavourial support strategies (PBSP)
Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Blue Card
- Yellow Card / NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Modules
- National Police Check
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
- ABN (Australian Business Number)
- Minimum 1 year experience in disability support
- Experienced in Children with ASD and Intellectual disability
- Confidence managing emergency medical situations in high-intensity settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Understanding of NDIS and person-centred approaches
- English-speaking preferred
Shift Details:
- 3 nights a week
- Starting date will be 29th of June 2026
