Seaford Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced, passionate and motivated Nominated Supervisor / Assistant Director to join our warm, family-owned service.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Childhood professional who is ready to take the next step in leadership. You will work closely with the Approved Provider to oversee the day-to-day operations of the service while continuing to support high-quality educational programs and positive outcomes for children, families and educators.
About the Role
As our Nominated Supervisor / Assistant Director, you will:
- Lead and mentor educators to deliver high-quality education and care.
- Support compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
- Maintain high standards across the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Assist with rostering, staffing and day-to-day service operations.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and the local community.
- Support staff development through coaching and mentoring.
- Contribute to Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) implementation.
- Assist with enrolments, tours and family engagement.
- Ensure a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with the Approved Provider on continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
You will have:
- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in an Early Childhood setting.
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and National Quality Standards.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A positive, supportive and collaborative leadership style.
- Sound knowledge of Child Safe Standards and safeguarding practices.
