We are a global event technology and staffing provider supporting conferences, exhibitions, corporate events, hospitality venues, festivals, and retail environments.
A key part of our work involves POS technology deployments for hospitality and business clients, including site surveys, hardware installation, system configuration, client training, and go-live support. Our wider services also include IT, AV, event logistics, onsite staffing, and remote client support.
About the Role
We are seeking reliable, tech-confident technicians to support POS installation and training projects across two role types:
Field Technicians attend client sites to conduct surveys, install and configure hardware, test systems, and provide onsite go-live support.
Remote Technicians deliver online training sessions, guiding clients through their setup, workflows, and day-to-day system use.
These projects often involve working with restaurants, cafés, food stalls, bars, takeaway shops, event venues, and small business owners. You should be comfortable speaking with owners, managers, and staff in practical, simple language, and understand how hospitality environments operate during real trading hours.
Full training, SOPs, and ongoing support will be provided before any client-facing work.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct site surveys and check networking, power, counter layouts, kitchen/service areas, and hardware placement
- Install, configure, and test POS hardware such as registers, printers, kitchen display systems, networking equipment, and related devices
- Support clients with workflows such as ordering, payments, receipts, kitchen dockets, labels, and service flow
- Troubleshoot technical issues onsite or remotely
- Deliver clear handover, training, and go-live support to business owners and staff
- Document outcomes and flag any technical or operational issues
- Follow SOPs, job briefs, checklists, and project instructions

- Able to explain technical steps clearly and patiently
- Understanding of hospitality environments such as cafés, restaurants, food stalls, bars, markets, and takeaway shops
- Able to work under pressure during trading hours, events, or go-live periods
- Available for flexible hours, including weekdays, early starts, weekends, and event-based work
- Please note: weekend-only availability is not suitable for this role
For field roles, you will also need:
- A full driver’s licence
- Access to your own vehicle
- An active ABN
Bonus Points
- Previous experience in hospitality and POS / EPOS systems is highly favourable
- Previous experience in events, AV, IT support, retail technology is also desirable
- Basic networking knowledge, including Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and printers
- Confidence using basic power tools for mounting hardware and cable runs
- Experience delivering training, remote support, or client onboarding
Work Location
Field roles are in person. Remote training roles are online.

Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour
