Senior Occupational Therapist (with Partnership Track!)
Location: Hamilton East
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time (Flexible)
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 + Super+ Profit Share & Equity Options
About Us
Hunter Health Hub, a brand-new, modern allied health practice on a mission to do things differently. We are launching with a simple philosophy: exceptional, client-centered care shouldn't come at the cost of clinician burnout.
We are agile, tech-forward, and passionate about creating a vibrant, supportive culture. We are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to help us build the clinical foundation from the ground up.
The Opportunity: Build Your Legacy (Partnership Option)
This is not your average senior clinician role. We are looking for a true partner in growth.
The Equity Pathway: For the right candidate, we are offering a formal, structured pathway to business partnership and equity share. If you’ve ever dreamed of owning your own practice but didn't want the massive financial risk or administrative burden of doing it entirely alone, this is your launchpad. You bring the clinical leadership; we’ll build the business together.Your Role & Responsibilities
As our founding Senior OT, you will wear two very exciting hats: clinical expert and clinical leader.
- Clinical Excellence: Deliver high-quality, evidence-based OT assessments and interventions (caseload can be tailored to your passion—e.g., NDIS, pediatrics, rehabilitation, or mental health).
- Practice Development: Help design and implement our clinical frameworks, templates, and service delivery models.
- Mentorship: Lead, supervise, and inspire junior therapists and allied health assistants as our team grows.
- Community Connection: Help establish and nurture relationships with local GPs, schools, and community organizations.
What We Are Looking For
You are a skilled clinician who wants to make a real, lasting impact.
- The Credentials: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, with active professional registration AHPRA
- The Experience: 10+ years of clinical experience, with a solid track record of working independently.
- The Mindset: Entrepreneurial, proactive, and collaborative. You enjoy solving problems and aren't afraid of the "blank slate" of a start-up.
- Leadership Spark: Previous experience supervising students or junior staff is highly regarded.
What’s in It for You?
- A Seat at the Table: Direct influence over the practice’s direction, culture, and clinical philosophy.
- Partnership Track: A clear, legally structured pathway to business partnership/co-ownership.
- True Flexibility: We focus on outcomes, not clock-watching. Choose your hours and work structure.
- Generous PD Budget: Uncapped professional development support to help you maintain your edge.
- Brand-New Space: Work out of a beautifully designed, modern clinic equipped with the latest resources.
