Sweet Spot Café is a growing neighbourhood café in Gymea Bay, built on great coffee, quality food and, most importantly, genuine hospitality. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming experience where every customer feels like a regular and every team member feels valued.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Casual Barista to join our friendly team.
About the Role
We're looking for someone who is available to work:
- Fridays
- Sundays
- Additional shifts as required.
You'll be responsible for consistently delivering exceptional coffee while providing warm, genuine customer service that keeps our locals coming back.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a café barista.
- Can consistently produce high-quality espresso and beautiful latte art.
- Is confident texturing milk to the correct temperature and consistency for all milk types.
- Understands how to dial in a grinder and maintain consistency throughout the day.
- Takes pride in coffee quality and attention to detail.
- Has a positive, reliable and team-first attitude.
- Thrives in a busy café environment and enjoys engaging with customers.
- Is available to work weekends.
