We Are Hiring – Support Worker (Casual)
Location: Ellenbrook, WA
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to provide Community Access support to a female participant in her 60s.
In this role, you will deliver respectful, person-centred support that promotes independence, confidence, social inclusion, and overall wellbeing. You will assist the participant to stay active, engage with the community, develop life skills, and participate in meaningful activities.
Shifts Available
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday
- Approximately 4-hour shifts (10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
Start Date: ASAP
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Disability Support (or equivalent qualification)
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in disability support or a similar role
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support in the home and community.
- Assist with community access, social participation, transport, and daily living activities.
- Support participants to achieve their goals and increase independence.
- Administer medication in accordance with organisational policies and relevant legislation.
- Follow individual care plans and Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
- Monitor participant wellbeing and report concerns, incidents, or hazards promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and records.
- Collaborate with families, carers, allied health professionals, and support teams.
- Participate in training, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
Mandatory Qualifications & Certifications (Current)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Infection Control Training Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- NDIS Induction Module Certificate
- NDIS Mealtime Management Certificate
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Certificate III or IV in Disability Support (or equivalent)
