Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong expertise in Microsoft Power Platform to support the analysis, design, and delivery of business solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, architects, testers, and project teams to translate business requirements into effective technical and functional solutions.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Hands-on knowledge of Dataverse and Microsoft 365.
- Proven experience in business and technical requirements analysis.
- Strong capability in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
- Understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, and system interfaces.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Jira.
- Experience supporting UAT, testing, implementation, and post-production activities.
- Ability to work effectively with developers, solution architects, testers, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional documentation.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements-gathering meetings.
- Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Support the design and delivery of Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
- Work closely with technical teams to define APIs, integrations, data flows, and system dependencies.
- Collaborate with solution architects and developers to ensure requirements are technically feasible and aligned with business objectives.
- Support Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews.
- Assist testing teams with test scenarios, requirements validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support implementation, deployment, change management, and post-go-live activities.
- Maintain clear and accurate business, functional, and technical documentation.
- Identify risks, dependencies, gaps, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Pay: $600.00 – $800.00 per day
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sydney NSW
