About the role
We are delighted to announce that we are currently seeking applications for an experienced MMU Operator to join our team in Hunter Valley!
As an MMU Operator, you will play a critical role in safely delivering bulk explosive products and blasting services to our customer sites. Working closely with Shotfirers, fellow Operators and site personnel, you will operate Mobile Manufacturing Units (MMUs) and associated equipment, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality blasting operations while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, customer service and environmental stewardship.
Our industry-leading training programs offer career advancement, with many former MMU Operators moving into roles like Supervisors, Territory Managers and Operational Leaders. We also provide opportunities for growth into our technical services team.

What you will be doing
You will operate MMUs (Mobile Manufacturing Units) and blasting equipment to safely deliver explosive products on site;
Assist with blast preparation, including measuring holes and setting up exclusion zones;
To complete equipment inspections, calibrations and basic maintenance checks;
Load and unload raw materials while handling explosives safely and compliantly;
To work closely with Shotfirers, teammates and customers to support production targets;
Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings and required training;
Maintain high safety, housekeeping and environmental standards at all times.
What you will bring
Experience operating MMUs, heavy equipment or working in mining/heavy industry;
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic troubleshooting;
A Current HR Driver’s Licence;
Explosives Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one;
A strong commitment to safety and safe work practices;
A positive team-focused attitude with strong communication and customer service skills.
