Dental Assistant / Receptionist – Revesby Dental Surgery
Revesby Dental Surgery is looking for a friendly, motivated and reliable Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team.
We are seeking someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent patient care, and can confidently support both the clinical and reception sides of a busy dental practice.
About the Role
This is a varied position involving both dental assisting and front-desk/reception duties, including:
- Assisting the dentist during a range of dental procedures
- Preparing and setting up treatment rooms
- Cleaning, sterilising and maintaining dental instruments in accordance with infection-control procedures
- Greeting patients and providing a welcoming, professional experience
- Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries
- Managing appointments, recalls and patient records
- Processing payments, private health insurance claims and HICAPS transactions
- General administrative and reception duties
- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional practice environment
About You
The successful candidate will be:

- Compassionate and patient-focused
- Comfortable using computers and dental practice management software
- Experienced in dental assisting and/or dental reception (preferred, but training may be provided to the right candidate)
Previous experience in a dental practice is highly regarded. A willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential.
