We are currently seeking an experienced trade assistant / welder for our team at Warabrook.
This is a casual workshop position with immediate start required. We are a small family owned business with a mix of production runs and one off custom items varying from light sheet metal to medium steel work.
Applicants should have the following skills:
- Ability to work as part of a team or individually with minimal supervision
- Be physically fit and capable to complete manual tasks eg. manual lifting, bending, squatting and kneeling
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to produce work to a high standard in a safe and timely manner
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to mig & tig weld an advantage
- Drivers licence (required)
- Forklift licence (preferred)
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude and reliable
