The Opportunity
Duacare Support Solutions, a compassionate NDIS-registered provider, is urgently seeking dedicated and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team in Adelaide’s Western Suburbs. Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support (e.g., showering, dressing, hygiene assistance).
- Assist with household tasks, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Support community access, social activities, and transportation.
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and mental health assistance to clients.
- Work collaboratively with clients to help them achieve their personal goals.
What We’re Looking For
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A valid NDIS Worker Check.
- A current National Police Check (issued within the last 6 months).
- A current First Aid Certificate.
- A full Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- A compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in mental health support is preferred.
- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is highly regarded but not essential.
