Content Creator — Automotive (Casual & Part-Time) · South East Melbourne, VIC
This role would suit an emerging content creator with a strong creative eye and a genuine passion for cars, looking to develop into a professional automotive photographer.
SCRM Media works exclusively with car dealerships across Australia, managing their social media, photography and video content end-to-end. We're looking for a Content Creator based in South East Melbourne to capture content on location at dealerships across the region. We have both casual and part-time positions available.
Prior experience is valued, but attitude and potential matter just as much — we provide training and a clear progression path.
The role
You'll work across multiple dealerships, filming social content and photographing vehicle stock on a camera provided by us. Beyond day-to-day content, you'll also shoot car highlight films and bespoke creative shoots, so an understanding of how to present a vehicle at its best is important. A light Lightroom edit keeps everything consistent before it's handed to our team.
- Filming short-form social content (Reels, walk-arounds, promotions)
- Shooting car highlight films and bespoke creative shoots
- Producing structured inventory photo sets for listings
- Basic Lightroom editing for colour and consistency
- Working from supplied shot lists and uploading completed content
About you
- Some hands-on camera experience and an understanding of quality footage and imagery
- A creative eye for composing vehicles to their best advantage
- Working Lightroom knowledge, or the ability to learn it quickly
- Strong time management and the ability to work independently across sites
- Reliable, punctual and an effective communicator
- Open to feedback with a genuine drive to improve
- Own vehicle (essential — the role involves travel between dealerships)
