Tutt Bryant Equipment is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Cranes to drive sales, brand awareness and customer relationships across the Southern Region.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who knows the crane industry, understands capital equipment sales, and can manage the full customer journey from first conversation through to delivery, commissioning and ongoing account development.
You will represent leading crane brands including Kato, HSC and Sany, backed by the strength of Tutt Bryant Equipment’s national sales, parts, service and support network.

About the role
Reporting to the National Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing supplier and client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting the growth of Tutt Bryant Equipment’s crane product lines.
You will work closely with customers, manufacturers and internal teams to deliver strong commercial outcomes and a high level of customer support.
Key responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities across the Southern Region
- Build brand awareness for Kato, HSC and Sany crane lines
- Manage and grow customer relationships across the crane industry
- Develop call plans, sales strategies and territory plans
- Work directly with manufacturers and suppliers
- Coordinate with internal sales, service, parts and support teams
- Manage the end-to-end sales process from enquiry to delivery
- Support delivery, commissioning, customer handover and training
- Negotiate commercial outcomes and close sales opportunities
About you
You will bring strong technical knowledge of cranes and the crane industry, along with proven experience in business development, equipment sales or capital equipment sales.
You will be commercially confident, relationship-driven and comfortable working with customers, suppliers and internal teams to identify opportunities and deliver outcomes.
Experience selling cranes, heavy equipment, mobile plant, capital equipment or related machinery will be highly regarded.
