About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Software Engineer (AI Solutions) to join our growing development team. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining software applications, including AI-powered business solutions. You will work on projects involving web applications, APIs, cloud technologies, AI integration, and automation solutions tailored to client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain software applications.
- Analyse business and user requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Design and develop AI-powered applications and intelligent automation solutions.
- Integrate Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models into software applications.
- Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Develop responsive web applications using modern technologies.
- Test, debug and optimise software applications.
- Participate in software architecture, code reviews and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software solutions.
- Support deployment, maintenance and continuous improvement of software products.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum one (1) year of relevant full-time professional experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
- Experience developing software using technologies such as:
- C#
- .NET / .NET Core
- SQL Server
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- RESTful APIs
- Git version control
- Experience working with Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, including AI integration, Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, Generative AI, or AI APIs.
- Understanding of AI frameworks, prompt engineering, AI model integration, or cloud-based AI services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable Skills
Experience with one or more of the following will be highly regarded:
- React or Angular
- Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI API, or similar AI platforms
- Python
- Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines
- Agile software development methodologies
