Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage Minetek’s procurement function, ensuring effective sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials, goods, and services to support business operations and projects.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies focused on cost optimisation, supplier performance, quality, and supply chain efficiency.
- Manage supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements to achieve favourable outcomes around pricing, delivery, and quality.
- Oversee purchasing operations including purchase orders, inventory requirements, supplier coordination, and delivery timelines.
- Partner with internal stakeholders including Project Managers, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to support project requirements and resolve procurement challenges.
- Identify supply chain risks, implement improvement initiatives, and drive best practice procurement processes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the purchasing team, promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Analyse market trends, supplier performance, and procurement data to support informed commercial decisions.
About You:

Demonstrated experience in a Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager, or senior procurement leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, supply chain management, inventory control, and contract negotiation.
- Proven experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Experience sourcing materials, goods, and services within a manufacturing, engineering, mining, or industrial environment preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse costs, market trends, and supplier performance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project-driven environment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading and developing procurement teams.
