A Home Care Support Worker helps older Australians live independently in their own homes by providing personal care, domestic support, companionship, and daily living assistance.
Typical duties include:
Personal care: showering, grooming, dressing, toileting
Household tasks: cleaning, laundry, ironing, vacuuming
Meal preparation and shopping assistance
Medication reminders/monitoring
Transport to appointments
Social support and companionship
Helping clients stay active and independent
Pay: $5,500.00 – $6,200.00 per month
