- Are you an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner who is passionate about behaviour, and committed to person-centred best practice?
- Would you like to join a progressive team that will support and value you?
Opportunities are available immediately.
This role will provide Behaviour Support services to the Norther Beaches of Sydney area. We have a particular need for a practitioner who has experience working across all ages, however experience with any age groups will be considered.
About us:
We are an NDIS-registered provider, and we work throughout QLD, NSW, VIC, WA, ACT and TAS. Some of our practitioners specialise, but across the entire organisation, we work with all ages, all diagnoses, and all behaviour.
Kameleon Group specialises in positive behaviour support services. Our services are grounded in evidence-based best practices.
About the role:
This role has the flexibility to be part-time (minimum 4 days) or full-time. This is a hybrid working from home and mobile role. You will be based at home (no commute!) and will go out to visit people in their homes, schools, workplaces, programs, and in the community.
Being a behaviour support specialist involves working with people and their support networks to bring about positive change. We do this by understanding the relationship between a person’s environment (social and physical) and their behaviour, and then influencing that person’s environment so that it sets them up for success.
Our practitioners meet with clients, conduct assessments, analyse behavioural data, develop strategies and Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs), support implementation of those strategies and plans, monitor progress, and review where necessary. The role involves other elements, too – connecting with other team members, attending training, participating in projects or research, facilitating workshops, and more. We are proud to have a diverse and passionate team, and we support people to lean into their strengths and interests.
