About the Role:
We're on the lookout for a creative and proactive Marketing Coordinator to join our team at QT Gold Coast on a part-time basis, 30 hours per week. In this role, you'll support the Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager in bringing marketing campaigns, content, and brand activations to life across the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a brand champion for QT Gold Coast, ensuring all marketing output is on-brand, on-brief, and aligned with QT standards across guest touchpoints
- Support execution of the annual Marketing and PR calendar, contributing creative concepts for campaigns, events, and activations
- Develop integrated campaigns and marketing collateral across digital, social, eDM, and print, using Canva and other tools
- Manage day-to-day social media scheduling, publishing, and community management
- Coordinate influencer activity, photoshoots, and onsite activations in collaboration with F&B and C&E teams
- Source and compile supplier/vendor quotes, and provide general marketing administrative support (documentation, reporting, presentations)
- Support revenue-driving campaigns, promotions, and partnership opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships across AMCM, GM, Sales, Revenue, F&B, and wider teams, embracing EVT's vision and ways of working
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform strategy
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 1 year's experience in marketing, communications, or content (hospitality or lifestyle experience highly regarded)
- Strong design skills and proficiency in Canva (or similar tools)
- A creative mindset with a strong eye for design and brand storytelling
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to take initiative
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise, and meet deadlines
- Confidence making independent decisions while knowing when to seek alignment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
- An interest in and understanding of the hospitality industry
- Confidence across social media platforms and content creation
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team
