A.P Bakery — Sydney
A.P Bakery started in 2021 with a simple idea: make great bakery food, great coffee and create places people genuinely want to come back to.
We’re now looking for experienced Barista / All-Rounders to join our teams across Sydney.
This role is for someone who loves coffee, enjoys talking to people and is just as comfortable jumping on the till or helping the floor as they are behind the machine.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’ll be someone who:
- Has at least 1 year of experience in a quality, high-volume café, bakery, restaurant or hotel
- Can comfortably handle around 3kg+ of coffee during a busy shift
- Understands dial-in, shot quality, milk texture, basic latte art and machine cleaning
- Enjoys genuine hospitality and talking to guests
- Works quickly without losing attention to detail
- Stays calm and positive when things get busy
- Is happy to jump between coffee, till, service and general venue duties
- Communicates well and looks out for the people around them
- Takes pride in keeping their workspace clean, organised and ready for service
THE ROLE
A typical shift might include making coffee, taking orders, chatting to regulars, running food, helping teammates through a rush and making sure the venue looks great.
We don’t really do “that’s not my job.” Everyone helps where they’re needed.
Most importantly, we want people who bring warmth, urgency, curiosity and a good attitude to work.

We have multiple roles available across Sydney, including some Monday–Friday positions and others that include weekend work.

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $31.00 – $35.00 per hour
