About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and people-focused Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our People & Culture team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in HR, recruitment coordination, administration, or recruitment resourcing who is looking to take the next step in their career. If you're interested in building your skills in Talent Acquisition, we'll provide the training, support and mentoring to help you succeed.
You'll support recruitment across a variety of roles, from Front of House and Back of House positions through to corporate and administration roles. You'll also play a key role in creating a positive candidate and new starter experience, from initial application through to onboarding.
What You'll Do
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Take the lead on high-volume, end-to-end recruitment across our diverse portfolio of venues and business functions.
- Partner closely with leaders to understand their workforce needs and connect them with talented people who will contribute to their team's success.
- Proactively source and engage top talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK Premium Talent Search, job boards and direct sourcing strategies.
- Guide candidates through every stage of the recruitment journey, from initial screening and interviews through to offers and onboarding.
- Build and nurture talent pipelines to ensure we're always ready to meet current and future hiring demands.
- Support the recruitment of specialist and leadership roles, helping shape the future of our organisation.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that leaves a positive and lasting impression of Bankstown Sports.
New Starter Onboarding
- Own and coordinate the Club's end-to-end New Starter Onboarding Program, creating a welcoming and seamless experience for every new team member.
- Ensure all contracts, compliance checks, onboarding documentation and system access requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Create engaging onboarding experiences that help new employees feel connected, supported and set up for success from their very first day.
- Collaborate with leaders, Learning & Development, Payroll and People & Culture teams to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to valued team member.
- Drive continuous improvement of onboarding processes, resources and communications to enhance engagement, retention and the overall employee experience.
- Play a key role in shaping memorable first impressions and fostering a strong connection to our culture and values from day one.
About You
You'll be highly organised, people-focused and eager to grow your career in Talent Acquisition.
To be successful, you'll bring:
- Experience in HR, recruitment, administration, recruitment coordination or recruitment resourcing
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Confidence using HR, recruitment or business systems
- A genuine passion for delivering a positive candidate and employee experience
- Ability to travel between Club locations across Western Sydney
- RSA & RCG Competency Card (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable
- Experience in hospitality, clubs, entertainment, retail or customer service environments
- Exposure to recruitment, onboarding or HR processes
- Qualifications or current studies in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
