About the Role
Reporting to the Member Services Team Leader, the Membership Consultant plays a key role in supporting the growth and success of Cockburn ARC through proactive membership sales, customer engagement, and community outreach. The role is responsible for conducting personalised centre tours, promoting memberships and services, supporting retention initiatives and delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse range of community members. Working collaboratively across the centre, the Membership Consultant also maintains accurate records and reporting, supports reception operations when required, and contributes to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages community participation and wellbeing.
About you
This role would suit a motivated and customer-focused individual who enjoys building positive relationships and helping people achieve their health and wellbeing goals. You will be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality customer service. An interest in the leisure or fitness industry, combined with a proactive approach to sales, community engagement, and teamwork, will see you thrive in this role.
Besides demonstrated experience, you’ll need to have:
- Availability to work a rotating roster across a 76-hour fortnight, including evenings and weekends, with a fortnightly RDO negotiable
- Must hold Senior First Aid Certificate
- Must maintain a current Working With Children Check

Salary and Benefits: Salary range from Level 3 Step 1 – Step 4 ($79,985 to $85,456 per annum) of the City of Cockburn Industrial Agreement 2025, based on qualifications and experience.
