About the Role
You will join Children's Health Queensland as a Paediatric Vocational Medical Education Fellow, combining advanced clinical practice with a leadership role in medical education, training and workforce development.
This is a shared role with approximately 0.5 FTE allocated to the University of Queensland (UQ) for undergraduate medical education and 0.5 FTE allocated to Children's Health Queensland as a clinical and vocational medical education Fellow within General Paediatrics.
In this role, you will make a significant contribution to the education and professional development of paediatric trainees and medical students at Queensland Children's Hospital. Working closely with senior clinicians, medical educators and the Medical Workforce and Education Service, you will help shape high-quality training experiences, support vocational doctors on their pathway to fellowship and contribute to a strong culture of learning, safety and excellence in patient care.
This fellowship offers the opportunity to further develop skills in medical education leadership, mentoring and system-level improvement, while maintaining advanced clinical practice within General Paediatrics. The role is well suited to senior registrars seeking to consolidate leadership capability alongside clinical expertise within a supported, collaborative environment.
