We are a growing, values-driven company looking for a compassionate, and reliable Support Worker to join our team. If you care deeply about people, value consistency and trust, and want your work to genuinely matter, we would love to hear from you.
About Us
Steady Home Supports was created with one clear belief: people thrive when they feel safe, respected, heard, and genuinely supported.
We work closely with participants to build independence, confidence and life skills, create stability through consistent and reliable support, honour individual goals and preferences, and support participants as people.
Our practice is trauma-informed, relationship-focused, and participant-led.
About the Role
As a Support Worker at Steady Home Supports, you will provide person-centred and respectful supports aligned with participant goals, build genuine and trusting relationships, support daily living, community access, skill-building, and wellbeing, work collaboratively with participants, families, and the wider support team, and be a calm and consistent presence in someone’s life.
This role is ideal for someone who understands that how you show up matters just as much as what you do.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone with NDIS experience who truly believes participants are the experts in their own lives. Is reliable, emotionally aware, and grounded, communicates with empathy, patience, and respect, values consistency, boundaries, and ethical practice, is comfortable working independently while being part of a supportive team, and wants to grow with a company that values people over profit.
In addition to direct support, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to:
- contribute to the development of ethical, practical systems and processes
- support the establishment of best-practice service delivery
- provide informed feedback on participant supports and team practices
- work closely with leadership to help shape a strong, values-based culture
