Derby Street Children's Centre is a not-for-profit, community-based Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten. We believe children thrive in environments where they feel safe, respected and inspired, and where educators are supported, valued and empowered in their professional practice.

We are currently seeking passionate and committed Diploma Early Childhood Educator to join our community in:
- Part-time position in our three year old kinder program
The Centre closes for approximately three weeks over the end-of-year holiday period, supporting work-life balance for our team.

About You
You are an educator who:
- Works collaboratively within a team and contributes positively to workplace culture
- Builds warm, responsive and respectful relationships with children and families
- Creates learning environments that are engaging, challenging and inclusive
- Is reflective, motivated and committed to continuous improvement
Essential Criteria
- Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine passion for Early Childhood Education
- Ability to plan for and implement meaningful learning experiences
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
- Current Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Completed both National and State Child Safety Training
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Early Childhood Education
