Domestic Assistant | Kanda
You don't need a background in aged care to do this job well. You need to be reliable, genuinely warm with people, and take real pride in leaving somewhere better than you found it.
We're growing our team across the North Gold Coast, from Upper Coomera to Burleigh, and we're looking for people who want to be part of something from the ground up, not just fill a shift.
What the role looks like
You'll support elderly clients in their own homes across the region, helping with light domestic tasks and shopping so they can continue living comfortably and independently.
You'll visit multiple clients each day from Wednesday to Friday, travelling between homes in your own vehicle. This is a daytime role with no nights or weekends, and you'll be paid for your entire shift, including travel time between clients, plus a kilometre allowance for every kilometre you drive.
You're the right fit if...
- You're warm, trustworthy and the kind of person older clients will genuinely look forward to seeing
- You have your own reliable, registered and insured vehicle
- You're happy to work across a broad travel radius throughout the North Gold Coast Region
- You Have Full working rights in Australia
You'll need to hold or be willing to obtain:
- Current National Police Clearance
- Working with Children Check (Employee)
- Evidence of two doses of Covid vaccination
