The Group Security Operational Resilience team plays a vital role in helping the bank maintain critical operations during severe cyber disruptions. The team ensures continuity of service for customers while protecting against losses, theft and technology risk events.
You will join a growing and highly visible team responsible for shaping how the organisation responds to and recovers from major cyber incidents. The team develops strategic recovery plans and works across technology and business units to strengthen enterprise-wide resilience capability.
In this role, you will ensure technical rebuild and recovery plans are robust, tested and aligned across key stakeholders. You’ll help foster a culture where operational resilience and cyber security accountability is embedded across the organisation.

As Senior Manager Technology Resilience, you will play a key role within the Operational Resilience Program, acting as a critical link between Global Technology teams and delivery stakeholders.
You will help enhance cyber resilience by supporting the development of technical rebuild and recovery strategies, ensuring the organisation is prepared to respond to major cyber events.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing subject matter expertise to support the development of technical rebuild and recovery plans
Performing quality assurance reviews across multiple technology teams including infrastructure, networking, engineering and development
Supporting the design and execution of cyber recovery testing, including bare metal rebuild scenarios
Identifying reusable recovery patterns and contributing to a structured resilience knowledge library
Collaborating with Service Continuity and Business teams to validate and improve recovery mechanisms
We’re looking for a technical specialist with strong engineering and architecture experience who is passionate about cyber security and resilience.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
Deep experience in technology architecture and engineering within financial services or large, complex organisations
Hands-on involvement in designing, building, managing or migrating infrastructure, applications and databases
Exposure to cloud migration, networking, datacentres, virtualisation, IaaS and storage solutions
Experience across platforms such as Linux, Mainframe and Oracle
Familiarity with technologies including AWS, VMware, Dell EMC, HP, CyberArk or RSA
Knowledge of CPS 230, technology risk, resilience frameworks or cyber security controls
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse technology domains
A proactive mindset with a strong drive to improve resilience capability and delivery effectiveness
