We’re looking for an experienced Microvellum Drafter to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering accurate shop drawings and manufacturing-ready documentation.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for producing detailed shop drawings, manufacturing documentation and CNC-ready outputs using Microvellum.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed shop drawings for commercial joinery projects.
- Develop manufacturing and assembly drawings.
- Generate CNC-ready files using Microvellum.
- Prepare cutting lists, hardware schedules and material take-offs.
- Coordinate with estimators, project managers and site teams.
- Review architectural and interior design drawings.
- Resolve design and construction issues before production.
- Maintain drawing revisions and document control.
- Assist in developing and improving Microvellum standards and libraries.
About You
You will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial joinery drafting.
- Strong Microvellum experience (essential).
- Good understanding of cabinet construction methods and manufacturing.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience with AutoCAD is highly regarded.
