Freight sorter- PM Shift
- 5 days per week Monday-Friday
- 4 pm onwards with 20-30 hours per week depending on workload
- Dandenong South location
- $39 per hour
- No experience needed - must be able to work the 5 days
About the company:
Industry leading freight distributor servicing Tasmania, Vic country and Metro Melbourne, NSW and SA with parcel, skid and pallet freight.
We are looking for a reliable freight handler/dock hand who can work short 4 hour shifts starting 4pm Monday-Friday. Must be physically fit as you are predominantly lifting boxes of freight to and from conveyor belts and stacking cages.
Key responsibilities:
- Picking and sorting freight into designated areas(suburbs,postcodes)
- Assisting in the manual breakdown of freight
- Assisting loading/unloading stock on to conveyor
- Assisting in other areas such as put away, country, point and breakdown
- Scanning
