About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Supply Planner to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely availability of materials to support the Demand Plan while optimizing inventory levels and balancing service, cost, and working capital objectives.
Working closely with Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and external suppliers, you will play a key role in driving supply chain performance and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
FINI Materials Planning
Manage FINI material requirements for locally produced and imported products to support Demand plans.
Review and maintain MRP outputs, ensuring inventory targets, lead times, and minimum order quantities are achieved.
Monitor and manage open Process & purchase orders, supplier deliveries, and MRP exception messages.
Work closely with production scheduling and Material planning teams to ensure material availability to avoid production impact
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics providers on imported shipments, including sea freight, air freight, and LCL deliveries.
Support product phase-in and phase-out activities and provide Imported vendors forecasts based on MRP outputs.
Participate in regular supply review meetings with regional and international supply teams.
Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP)
Manage demand consolidation and inventory netting at SKU level.
Develop and maintain distribution and replenishment plans to ensure optimal stock availability across distribution centres.
Balance customer service (OTIF), inventory, and cost objectives through effective planning decisions.
Maintain replenishment parameters, safety stock levels, and inventory policies within the ERP system.
Monitor inventory performance, resolve stock imbalances, and proactively manage out-of-stock situations.
Drive initiatives to reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory (SLOB).
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
Run weekly Sales & S&OE meetings with Manufacturing, Demand Planning, and Commercial teams.
Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and supply chain efficiency.
Support Finance with supplier invoice discrepancies when required.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers.
About You
You are an organised, data-driven professional who enjoys solving complex supply chain challenges and working collaboratively across multiple functions.
To be successful, you will have:
A Diploma or higher qualification in Supply Chain or a related discipline.
3–5 years' experience in supply planning, inventory management, or a similar supply chain role.
Strong knowledge of MRP and inventory management principles.
Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse and interpret large data sets.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
The ability to prioritise competing demands, work under pressure, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
