Our science-based approach delivers innovative, practical solutions that help clients balance environmental and safety priorities within their broader sustainable development objectives.
Our services include environmental audits and monitoring, compliance and risk management, environmental monitoring and reporting, operational secondments, and specialist project delivery across environmental compliance, remediation and rehabilitation, and groundwater monitoring and management. The opportunity
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is the practice of capturing, managing, analysing and interpreting spatial data to understand locations, patterns and relationships, and to support informed decision-making, environmental management and operational outcomes.
A day as a GIS Analyst involves managing and analysing spatial data, developing maps and visualisations, maintaining spatial databases, and producing dashboards and reporting products to support environmental and groundwater monitoring and management. The role also involves developing efficient and repeatable workflows, supporting client projects and secondments, and providing technical GIS expertise to help meet legislative, operational and contractual requirements.
A career in GIS at OHMS Environment provides opportunities to work across a range of environmental and groundwater projects, develop specialist technical expertise, and contribute to innovative, science-based solutions for clients. As capability and experience develop, GIS Analysts can progress into more specialised technical, project and consulting opportunities within the business.
