Duties
It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Talent Acquisition Consultant (Front Line) you will be working across:
Recruitment Delivery
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from job briefing and sourcing to offer and onboarding for high-volume front-line recruitment
- Partner with hiring managers to articulate role requirements, success profiles, and selection criteria.
- Develop and manage sourcing strategies including advertising, direct sourcing, talent pools, and referrals.
- Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and assessments.
- Coordinate interview panels and assessment practices to ensure structured, compliant selection processes.
Candidate Experience
- Provide a professional and engaging experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates and hiring managers.
- Ensure timely decision making and feedback.
Talent Sourcing
- Proactively identify and approach potential candidates using LinkedIn, networks, and talent databases.
- Build talent pipelines for frequently recruited roles.
- Support diversity and inclusion initiatives through targeted sourcing.
Recruitment Governance & Systems
- Manage job requisitions and candidate records within the recruitment system (e.g. PageUp/Smart Recruiters).
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and employment legislation.
- Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting.
Workforce Planning Support
- Work with leaders to anticipate hiring needs.
- Provide market insights on candidate availability, salary trends and hiring strategies.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in corporate or Agency Recruitment / Talent Acquisition. (5+ years’ experience)
- Experience with continuous improvement of recruitment functions
- Demonstrated experience partnering with hiring managers to facilitate recruitment
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with complex high-volume recruitment
- Experience recruiting within financial services, insurance, allied health, or professional services.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (PageUp, Smart Recruiter preferred)
- Desirable - Experience with HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors.
- Desirable – Recruitment project management experience
- Desirable - Knowledge of Australian employment legislation.
- Desirable - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or relevant field
- Desirable - A range of experience in supporting human resources activities
