SkyCity Adelaide is seeking Part-Time Cage Cashiers to join our Cash Handling team.
About the Opportunity
In this role, you will deliver high-quality cash handling services, ensuring the accurate and timely counting, recording, and processing of cash, coin, casino value instruments, cheques, and bank transfer requests. You will be responsible for balancing floats, issuing cheques, and processing customer and gaming machine payouts, while supporting the correct use of cashless gaming products and EFTPOS facilities.
Working closely with both customers and internal teams, you will operate in line with strict procedures, compliance requirements, and confidentiality standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of financial transactions. You will also contribute to a smooth and efficient cage operation while supporting the venue’s gambling harm minimisation practices.
About You
You present professionally and bring a friendly, engaging approach, with a natural ability to build rapport while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. You thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment and can confidently manage multiple priorities, even under pressure.
With clear communication skills and a strong understanding of procedures, you demonstrate sound numerical and analytical abilities. You take accountability for your work, collaborate effectively within a team, and build positive relationships across departments.
Previous cash handling experience is essential, and experience in banking or finance will be highly regarded. You are adaptable, motivated, and physically capable of meeting the manual handling requirements of the role. You are also flexible and prepared to work across a 24/7 roster, bringing energy, attentiveness, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
